An in-development parking tracking system that aims to combine camera feeds to determine automatically which vehicle occupied which space and for how long.
What it does
APATS (Automated Parking Area Tracking System) aims to monitor occupancy and parking durations automatically through cameras.
APATS is in development and not yet in field use. Contact us to discuss a pilot.
- Designed to detect occupancy within defined parking spaces using overhead cameras
- Computes parking time from actual space occupancy rather than gate time; sessions are recorded even when no plate is read (logic validated in simulation)
- Aims to read the licence plate at exit and link it to the parking session (Turkish plate format)
- Occupancy and active sessions are shown on a web dashboard
